In 2019, a question began to stir in my heart concerning Colossians 1:15-16:
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation: for by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers—all things have been created through Him and for Him. -Colossians 1:15-16
If Thrones, Dominions, Principalities, and Powers were created through Christ and for Him, then, who is meant to come into those places known as Principalities and Powers that are in Christ? There appears to be a line of demarcation or boundary line concerning where darkness ends in creation and where Heaven begins. As Colossians 2:15 states that He, Christ, disarmed the Principalities and Powers and made a spectacle of them at the Cross. Another way of looking at this is to consider that the Thrones and Dominions did not go into darkness at the fall like the Principalities and Powers did. Why is that? How did that happen? As I began to look at the Greek words for Principalities and Powers, I began to have some more questions getting stirred up in my heart. For some time, I was thinking that maybe an Angel or Heavenly Being was meant to come into that place. The word for ‘principality’ is the Greek word 746 in the Strong’s Concordance which is ‘arche’ meaning beginning, origin, the first place or estate. In Jude, ‘arche’ is translated as ‘first estate’. If the angels had a ‘first estate’, did we have one as well?
In 2021, Father brought me into a mansion which I knew by the Spirit to be my ‘first estate’. After this encounter, I remembered an experience that I had somewhere in 2011-12, where off in the distance I saw this same mansion but didn’t think anything about it. So, approximately 10 years later in my journey of sonship, I was brought into the mansion that I had seen in that first experience not knowing what that place was.
In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know. -John 14:2-4
Yeshua speaks of many mansions and preparing one for each of us. I believe that those mansions are our first estates being prepared for us to come into them as sons. Yeshua in verse 4 tells the disciples that they know where He is going and the way to get there as well. An important question is, “What is possible right now with God concerning my life in the Spirit with Him???” If death is connected to any thought or pattern of thinking then go read 2 Timothy 1:8-10 and then change your mind/repent. Life and immortality is what you and I have been given in Christ so again, how much of that Life and Immortality is possible in my time here in the earth??? Another good verse to meditate on is Hebrews 7:15-16. This New Covenant and Priesthood is according to the power of an endless life.
One more verse to connect with ‘our first estate’ is found in Mark 3:27. Yeshua is talking about cleaning out a house. What house is He referring to? What strongman is He speaking of? I believe He is referring to ‘our first estates’. Now that Christ has come disarming them by His Cross and making a way for us In Christ to bind up the strongman, plundering the house that was never his and receiving our inheritance as sons.
