I shared this word last night at ATR and felt to share the full encounter. Even if for one person, to massage this truth into their heart. The Lord really helped me address some issues through it, so I pray that it also helps others.
I remember this conversation with Yeshua as we were hanging out one time.
He showed me a red plastic watering can. I love how He meets us in the simplicity of the everyday, with things that we can relate to. This particular watering can, was just like the one I used, when I would water the veggies and plants at the Cabin where I lived in England.
“Suppose you were to fill that with soil” He said.
Well that is just weird…I looked at Him wondering why on earth you would put dirt inside the watering can.
He smiled and continued,
“Suppose you were to fill it, perhaps, a quarter or even a half full of soil, and then the rest with fresh water? When you go to water the plants, what would happen?”
“Well, I’m pretty certain that it would go all yukky and muddy, in fact I bet it would clog up the spout completely!”
He smiled, so I continued, (seeing as I am such an expert on the mechanics of watering cans!)
“Because, if it is clogged with dirt then, when you direct that watering can, it would not flow as freely as if it would if it were just containing fresh water. In fact, it may not even flow at all, or if it does, it may not get to the exact spot that you were directing it to….” At that moment, revelation struck, and I exclaimed, “it could just make a big ineffective mess really”.
“YES! that’s correct” He said, “and likewise the flesh and man’s own desires and expectations can clog the flow of my Spirit that desires to flow through living vessels, to water the seedlings or the dry places that need it.”
The self-professed watering can expert, now stood a little bit convicted before the Gardener of the cosmos.
“Wow” (I was cringing inside).
“Yeah” He replied, although He said, it with no condemnation at all in His tone, just standing with me in agreement, like an old friend commenting on the weather.
I did not want to be clogged up, so prayed “Lord, tip that muck out of me, cleanse and wash me with Your Word”.
As I repented and asked Him to search my heart, I then began to see….what if we were to liken this watering can to our family and friends and work relationships?
If there is any trace of the mud of carnal ways, the clods of soil of past seasons and unhelpful things that we are holding onto, in fact, any kind of corrupted stuff in our vessel, then it is going to affect how we relate to people in a big way. It will also affect the sweet flow of Pure Spirit that He gave us to release and to sow life.
Psalm 97:11 says that “Light is sown for the Righteous, and joy (gladness) for the upright in heart”
I don’t know about you, but I’ll take that!
However, His sweet flow through us will be hindered, stopped up or misdirected in a mess if we do not get real and deal with the mud of the soul and flesh.
We don’t have to dive into the depths of introspection. The Spirit will highlight what it is that we need to recognize and deal with so that the unique and incredible new creation (kainos) expression that He created us to be, can function at its fullest potential. Lets be honest, how much more fearfully and wonderfully made are we compared to a watering can? Alot!
Our struggle is not against flesh and blood. It is against principalities and powers. (Ephesians 6:11-12) They tempt and try to influence our flesh (which is our physical expression of the divine in the earth realm) to vie for a position that is not ordained.
The flesh in itself is not evil. YHWH made us and gave us flesh suits. He gave us holy desires, which the enemy tries to distort. YHWH gave us the ability to have flesh relationships here on earth and even to be one in flesh through marriage to demonsrate the mystical union of us with Himself. But the flesh and the soul also needs to be in its proper place. Which is in submission to Spirit, because when flesh is presumptious and prideful, it ends up getting in the way of the flowing of Spirit.
This is when we get into “muddy waters”. If our flesh and soulish issues are speaking louder than the Spirit in our lives, then the flow is stopped altogether.
This is also where the dry places in our relationships, the places that truly need His Spirit more than ever, can get missed out. We may not have even realised the implications, because all we could see was our need to be right about something and to (somewhat self righteously) prove that.
But, through humility…the ability to say “Yep, I was wrong, I should not have said/done that thing…” Through being honest with ourselves, with our spouses, with our relationships and most importantly being honest with God who searches our hearts.
Through humility, the getting past of our Self-obsessed focus and seeing HIM in His perfection…we can begin to see our vessels cleansed and free flowing.
As we yield our own opinions, unforgiveness, judgements, bitterness, habitual sins, or whatever snares that we have been entangled in, to Him. He tips it out like the soil in the watering can and deals with it. It is not a complicated 10 step process; it is the power of His Salvation! All of our junk can be consumed, absorbed into the Full provision of the Cross. The place where the Gardener of the Cosmos…and the human heart, gave Himself for us and every yukky thing we have ever done.
For the most powerful transaction takes place within His wounds that He bore for us more than 2000 years ago. The crown of thorns rammed into His compassionate brow that had already sweated beads of blood in intercession for us. The whelts screaming for our healing were laid on His back. The chunks of His beard that were so cruelly ripped out, the humiliation of having His face disfigured and “marred more than any other man” Isaiah 52:14 Just as many were astonished at you my people so His appearance was marred more than any other man and His form more than the sons of men”. The mocking spit that landed on those darling cheeks. Those hands and feet that walked the earth and welcomed humanity pierced for our transgressions. His beating heart that yearns for His Bride, pierced to make a doorway for us to be revealeld as one with Him.
So in this sweet place of His perfection, the Lamb slain before the foundation of the earth, in the midst of His wounds I will end this.
It is Finished

During worship at ATR, God began to refocus our vision as a photographer does with a camera, adjusting our depth of field. Instead of looking at life and the things of this world, we focused on Yeshua. As we did this, He became translucent. We could still see this world, with its challenges, beauties and situations, but instead of looking directly at them, we were seeing them through Him. This changed our view completely, because, through Him, we now had the wisdom, the grace, and all that was necessary to handle these things and to walk in victory.
God revealed that He desired to open a portal to His beauty realm to us, and that the key to opening it was the corporate sound that was released through each person present.
This beauty realm portal is related to Song of Solomon 1:15, where the Beloved told the Shulamite that she had dove’s eyes (no peripheral vision; total unbroken focus upon Him). In reality, she did not yet have this focus and was enamored by His palace, His garments, His riches, His gifts. But when He speaks, He creates. He spoke things prophetically into existence in her life, and it was manifested by the end of the book.
And so, we realized that He is preparing us for an outpouring of the things we have cried out for: the miracles, signs, wonders, the gold, the diamonds, the supernatural. He is preparing us by giving us dove’s eyes, so that when He comes with His gifts, we will not focus upon them, allowing them to become an idol. But, with dove’s eyes, we will remain focused solely upon Him, the Object of our desire.
Is there something that has taken your focus off of your Beloved today? Has it been difficult to remain in the secret place when things around you are swirling? If so, just take a minute, close your eyes, breathe deep and take in His beauty and limitless love for you. Notice His face, His smile, His arms that are wide open to you. Then begin looking at your life through the lens of His power and faithfulness. Remember, the Counsel Chambers of heaven are open to you. Things in your life may appear unsolvable, but that is just an illusion. There is always a strategy nestled in the depths of His heart and mind. He is not hiding these solutions FROM you but FOR you. It really is His pleasure to give you His kingdom! Be encouraged as you refocus today.
I was praying in the Spirit when a door appeared to me. It was a wider-than-usual door and looked dark. Not knowing its nature, I prayed, submitting to all that was of God and resisting all that was not. I began moving swiftly in the Spirit toward and through that open door. I entered into the cosmos – blackness dotted with stars – and was moving at a rapid pace.
As I moved around in that place, I kept hearing “thrones, dominions, principalities, and powers” over and over. Then I heard “displacement.” That phrase is Colossians 1:9-18 – a timely word.
Then Father then said to me, “The victim mentality/slave mentality was man’s inheritance at the fall, because Adam forfeited his place of dominion, which was the original mandate: “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth” (Genesis 1:28).
The “restoration of all things” is about restoration of that place of dominion, so anything contrary to true dominion residing in your soul (victim, slavery, addiction, false submission and rebellion) must be ruthlessly dealt with.
The Father then explained to me that Esau selling his birthright was a serious thing, because it was a picture of what Adam had done. Adam traded his birthright (dominion and fruitfulness) for the scraps of self-sufficiency.
So today, join me on the Trading Floor to behold the Beautiful One and to trade every lesser thing for the dominion He died to give us. Then, let’s step through that open door, ruling and reigning from heaven into earth… bringing all of creation back into it’s rightful place of submission to the King of Kings!
When satan tempted Christ, he showed Him the kingdoms of this world and said, “This is what you will get if you just worship me.” By contrast, when the rich young ruler came to Christ, Jesus said nothing of what he would get, but rather said, “This is what you must give in order to follow Me.” Jesus knew that dying to self, materialism, greed and false security was necessary in order to prepare this young man to steward true riches.
It always goes back to the Trading Floor, and we must always lose our life to find it. By trying to preserve our self life, we end up losing it. It is a spiritual law. It is the way of the kingdom. It is why the way to destruction is broad, while the way to life is narrow. Jesus said that many are called but few are chosen. Why? Because they stumble and become offended during the process, and ultimately end up saying NO to paying the price. Do we earn what has been freely given to us in Christ? No! But the process of maturity is costly… costly, but necessary if we are to steward anything of true value.
Our society is defined by comfort and false security. We have not understand the necessity of hardship, so we often try to rescue people from the process, not realizing that we are handicapping them. Babies are selfish by design, but adults must learn selflessness, if they are to nurture others. Many in the Body of Christ right now are in an awkward teenage phase of sorts, where we are eager for adult privileges but are reluctant to accept the responsibilities that come with them. Growing up is hard… but necessary for where we are going and what we have said yes to. The way is narrow, and the Fear of the Lord is our tutor on this part of the journey. As we yield to His mentorship, we will apprehend the Promises!
I was standing at a threshold and above the threshold was written, ‘From the Beginning of Time.’ I had been dancing with Him on my mountain on this side of the threshold like a little girl with her feet on His feet, totally enamored and fully surrendered to His dance. Today I became a young woman. Yeshua was on the other side of the threshold and He extended His arm and His hand waiting for me to take it. As I did I was immediately over the threshold unto the other side. There we were with all of the universe before us. I was aware that I was in the many that made up His bride. The angels released a sound from silver trumpets that was awakening many to join us. The bride was yet young but from the throne came the voice of the Father, because this young bride had made herself ready. Father’s words came forth like a whirlwind of light and engulfed this young bride and she became a woman full of radiance and beauty crowned with wisdom from the beginning, the delight of Yeshua, our Beloved King. The song of heaven and creation joined together as one sound and the King and His bride began to dance twirling around the universe all the way back from the ‘beginning of time’, reordering it according to the desire of Father. As I beheld this beautiful celebration of joy around the universe with all its galaxies, I saw that we were dancing around the heart of the Father.
I was standing on my mountain under His wings, with my wings outstretched. From this high place, I could see “all the kingdoms of the world and their glory” (Matthew 4:8). I saw power and authority, riches, influence, insight and knowledge – beautiful treasures created by God as gifts for His children and as tools to help us nurture and govern creation. But these treasures were demonically usurped thanks to Adam and were being held captive in prisons of paper (yes, paper). They were paper because they are easily broken through and because they represent legal documents. I could see through the paper enough to distinguish the object and, though the paper shrouded the original glory, there was still a warm glow of the Father’s light. All The earth truly is His (Psalm 24:1) and still resonates with His light and life.
I then began to notice many angels, other types of heavenly beings and ones from the Cloud of Witnesses looking on, very excited. I sensed the Father looking on, smiling. And Yeshua showed up, in the glory of His kingly robes. There is a shift taking place. All the kingdoms of this world HAVE BECOME the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and we, the sons of God, are stepping into that reality as we mature and as our measure of rule expands to cover the earth. I saw the clashing of swords as waring angels responded to the decrees, prayers and court cases of believers. Demonic kings began bowing, acknowledging the lordship of Christ and stepping away from their stolen goods. Many of the human beings who had traded portions of their souls for these treasures were uneasy and scrambling. Some were angry, shaking their now empty fists at God. There was a transference of wealth – not just money, but every other kind of resource.
I then saw two side-by-side gauges that resembled thermometers. One of them represented the level of the sons of God’s maturity, authority and ability to govern (starting with our own souls, bodies, homes, finances, etc. and then working its way out). The other gauge represented demonic influence over created creation. The two gauges were obviously connected because they moved proportionately in opposition to each other. When the authority of the sons of God increased, the demonic influence decreased and vice versa.
I was immediately under his chuppah and then realized that His wings are the chuppah. I had to look up the spelling of the word “chuppah” and discovered that the word literally means “covering.” Other days have been primarily about coming under the Father’s wings, but this is clearly about coming under the covering of my Husband, Yeshua.
Last night at All Things Restored, Sean Killingsworth talked about the Shulamite in Song of Solomon being veiled in the beginning of the book and then everyone beholding her loveliness by the end. The veil that separated us from the Father and from the heavenly places was torn when Jesus’ flesh was torn and there is no separation. The veil that remains is the veil of the flesh, the appropriation of the work of the cross, the “reckoning ourselves dead,” so that His life can flow freely into and through us.
In Song of Solomon 2:8, the Shulamite says: “Listen! I hear my lover’s voice. I know it’s him coming to me—leaping with joy over mountains, skipping in love over the hills that separate us, to come to me.
Then in Song of Solomon 8:14, He says to her: Arise, my darling! Come quickly, my beloved. Come and be the graceful gazelle with me. Come be like a dancing deer with me. We will dance in the high place of the sky, yes, on the mountains of fragrant spice. Forever we shall be united as one!
I heard that same call as He grabbed me by the hand, and we leaped and skipped and jumped and danced throughout the heavenly realms and upon the mountains of the earth. Such love! Such delight! Such ecstasy! There are no words to describe it. I am DANCING WITH THE DESIRE OF ALL NATIONS upon all the mountains (kingdoms) of the earth. He truly has put everything under His feet (I Corinthians 15:27; Ephesians 1:22), but I had no idea He did it like this!!
We danced for an infinite amount of time that was encapsulated in a moment. Then we stood together on His mountain – the tallest of all – surveying all of creation. He stood behind me, and I was in His arms with my head resting on His chest. His heartbeat was the sounds, songs and rhythms of the all the nations. The Father had given the nations to Him as a dowry (“Ask of Me, and I will give you the nations!”), so He can present them to His bride. It is our opportunity to give Him the precious fruit of the souls He gave His life to redeem.
Overwhelmed by the magnitude of His love, I fell on my face with my hands touching His feet. I heard, “Beautiful are the feet of Him who brings GOOD NEWS!”
Isaiah 52:7: “How beautiful upon the mountainsAre the feet of him who brings good news,Who proclaims peace,Who brings glad tidings of good things,Who proclaims salvation,Who says to Zion,“Your God reigns!”
All the world and galaxies began to swirl as white smoke, funneling down in a whirlwind that rested beneath His feet. Everything truly has been placed under His dominion.
