Diamond Sons Arising, part 1

According to a new study from MIT and other universities, it’s estimated that there may be more than a quadrillion tons of diamond hidden inside the earth. Technology that is used to detect seismic activity suggests that these diamonds lie at least 100 miles below the earth’s surface, far deeper than humans have ever drilled. Agencies such as the United States Geological Survey have been monitoring seismic activity for decades as a way to track earthquakes, tsunamis, explosions, and other ground-shaking sources.

Is it possible that these diamonds are a natural sign or representation of the sons of God who are emerging and will continue to emerge and take their divine position in the identity of Yeshua on this earth? Take a look at Isaiah 60: 1-4 in the Passion Translation:
Rise up in splendor and be radiant, for your light has dawned, and Yahweh’s glory now streams from you! Look carefully! Darkness blankets the earth, and thick gloom covers the nations, but Yahweh arises upon you and the brightness of his glory appears over you! Nations will be attracted to your radiant light and kings to the sunrise-glory of your new day. Lift up your eyes higher! Look all around you and believe, for your sons are returning from far away and your daughters are being tenderly carried home. Watch as they all gather together, eager to come back to you!

Before we talk more specifically about the sons of Yahweh, let’s look into the meaning of the word “diamond” and how it’s used in the Bible. From Strong’s Concordance and the BDB lexicon, we see that it comes from the Hebrew word shamir (#8069), from which we get the English word for diamond that is referring to a sharp point or prick (i.e. thorn) or something that is sharp. When I ponder the sharpness of a diamond, I am reminded of the power and indestructible nature of Yahweh, the living Word. I love the Passion Translation of Hebrews 4:12:
For we have the living Word of God, which is full of energy, and it pierces more sharply than a two-edged sword. It will even penetrate to the very core of our being where soul and spirit, bone and marrow meet! It interprets and reveals the true thoughts and secret motives of our hearts.

Although diamonds are only mentioned four times in Scripture (Exodus 28:18, 39:11, Jeremiah 17:1 and Ezekiel 28:13), jewels are mentioned in several places. Gemstones are mentioned all throughout the Bible, and one could infer that gemstones are very dear to the Father’s heart. Yahweh adorns heaven with beautiful gemstones and even uses them in the breastplates of the priests in the Old Testament. Interestingly enough, each carbon atom in a diamond is covalently bonded to four other carbons. The number four in the Bible means creation and points to the creative ability of God, including the four seasons and elements. Is it possible that the four carbons in the diamond also parallel our state of being a “created” being and son of God?

In our culture, the diamond is often used as a sign of light and brilliance, symbolizing commitment, faithfulness, riches and promise. Made of a clear and colorless crystalline form of pure carbon, it is known as the hardest natural occurring substance.

Another interesting phenomenon about diamonds is the turbulent process by which they are made. Diamonds travel from a “very deep-seated volcanic eruption” that is violent in nature and happened a long time ago. It is this “kimberlite” eruption process that brings these diamonds to the surface.

Diamonds also may form under the high pressures and temperatures at the site of meteorite impacts. The diamonds formed during an impact may be relatively “young,” but some meteorites contain stardust (debris from the death of a star), which may include diamond crystals. One such meteorite is known to contain tiny diamonds over 5 billion years old, which is older than our solar system. This lengthy and deep process reminds me of the purification that we sons face as we are tested and refined in the fire.

But these only reveal the sterling core of your faith, which is far more valuable than gold that perishes, for even gold is refined by fire. Your authentic faith will result in even more praise, glory, and honor when Jesus the Anointed One is revealed.
-1 Peter 1:7, TPT

Perhaps the emergence of these diamonds is a foreshadowing of Bob Jones’ vision of the great harvest, also known as the “billion soul harvest.” Bob Jones was a prophet known for his great love and faithfulness to Yeshua. Interestingly enough, Bob Jones’s prophecies took place over decades and accurately predicted many weather patterns and phenomenon, including comets, earthquakes and tidal waves.

So just as many diamonds have been unearthed and a quadrillion more are waiting, we  see the sons of God forming and arising to their divine place so that others will see their reflected light of Yahweh and also emerge. I love the Passion Translation of Matthew 11:12, as it says, From the moment John stepped onto the scene until now, the realm of heaven’s kingdom is bursting forth, and passionate people have taken hold of its power.

Are you ready to rise and shine and refract the many facets of His light? All of creation may be depending on you to rise, shine, and recognize your divine position as a son.

As Esther 4:15 (NIV) encourages us, And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?
