As I ponder on the bigness of God, comfort to my heart as been the outcome.
Everything that is, is inside of God, all of the heavens, hell, the abyss… nothing exists outside of God. Yes, I had heard it, but now I saw it. There is no expanse, there is nothing outside of God, there is God and ALL that is, is inside of Him. Dr. Adonijah Ogbonnaya writes, “This is the mystery of God, only God can surround something and still get out of Himself and move above Himself. That is what makes God, God. The heavens are inside of God, but God still rides on top of them.”
“Sing to God, sing praises to His name;
Extol Him who rides on the clouds,
By His name Yah,
And rejoice before Him.”
-Psalm 68:4
This revelation of seeing everything that is, is inside of God has eradicated some fears and increased abiding trust. Trust increases peace, increases intimacy. So nothing is spinning out of control, because it’s all spinning in Him, and as I walk in faith, we co-labor together to change things. I am able to pull more beauty out of chaos, because I see myself and the situation in Him and, together, we make the difference.
