A poem from one of our own….
We’re all grown up now
Ruling and reigning on the earth
We still love You and will never stop
You chose us to be Yours
And we know we don’t deserve it
Holy, holy God, You are still the magnificent
You are everything
Holy, holy God, You are still all-knowing
And You did not forsake me
We now have the world as it should be
Just continue to grow and change
Inside Your heart there is the heart of the galaxy
Jesus, we are with You
Holy, holy God, You are still all-knowing
And You did not forsake me
Holy, holy God, we are ready to go now
To rule and reign the earth
The work of the enemy is to cause us to look at what we don’t have rather than to be grateful for what we do. He does the same thing today that he did with Eve, keeping us in a place of dissatisfaction instead of a place of joy. A sense of lack is like a black hole that sucks all the joy and gratefulness that we can try to muster up. But when we focus on what God has given us – His presence, His angels and heavenly beings to help us, the cloud of witnesses to cheer us on – we step into thankfulness for His extravagant love. Remember, a star gives off light, but a black hole sucks it in and snuffs it out. We are His lights in the world!
While worshipping, I saw the top of a chimney with a spark flying upward in a spiral, higher and higher, heavenward. I knew by the Spirit that His refining fire had consumed me, and that the ashes were all that remained of my dreams and agendas. What was left was a tiny spark that couldn’t help but to fly upward in an invisible current to heavenly places. I was surrounded by billowy smoke that protected me and kept the plans and purposes of God obscured from the enemy. I soared higher and higher, effortlessly propelled through no effort of my own, in a whirlwind of sparks and smoke until I could no longer distinguish between the sparks and the stars.
If you are walking through the fire today, be encouraged, my friend. Yield to the fire in His eyes… the fire that refines, that sets cold and weary hearts ablaze. Yield to the upward drawing you feel, for He has set eternity in your heart and you will never be satisfied with less. Heaven is your homeland, and Jesus – not death – is the door! Nestle safely in the cloud of smoke that surrounds Him as you draw closer and closer. Let Him breathe resurrection life into every hope and dream, for in the kingdom, death is always unto resurrection and ascension. Keep that “yes” in your heart until you find yourself in the stars, looking with perfect clarity into the small, small things of earth. Remember, you are seated with Christ in heavenly places…..
I AM the daughter of a king, whose kingdom cannot be shaken. It was established in the what was, it is in the now and the what is to come. Though I walk through the valley, I reside on the mountain. I AM.
The breakthrough usually comes within the process, whether we have recognized the process or not. The process builds the framework to steward the miracle. And God determines what our process is, according to what is needed in our lives. It is “possessing our land.”
The process always involves faith (Hebrews 11:6), for that is the starting point and the channel through which the breakthrough flows. Persisting in prayer as we wait for the manifestation of our breakthrough does not change God. It changes us.
Our process must be God-initiated, or we will end up striving or trying to earn something that has been freely given to us in Christ. His yoke is easy and His burden is light because, when He initiates something, He alway releases ample grace to respond in obedience. Such is not the case with a religious yoke – the Pharisaical heavy burden. So, just because God worked in a particular way with one person does not mean that He will work that way in another. We must not forget to simply ask Him and listen for His instructions for us. This is walking in humility and total dependence, rather than in presumption.
Because we do not see from God’s perspective, we often do not understand what is actually happening during those times of waiting. During those 15 years between when God promised Abraham descendants and when that promise actually manifested in the earth realm, God did in Abraham and Sarah what would enable them to faithfully steward their child of promise. First, God changed their names – their identities – from Abram (Noble Father) and Sarai (Princess) to Abraham (Father of Many) and Sarah (Mother of Nations). Then, Abraham was circumcised – a sign of God’s covenant, a death to self and the works of the flesh. Ismael was conceived in uncircumcision, but Isaac, the son of promise, was conceived in circumcision. Without these 2 things taking place, Abraham would not have been able to lay Isaac upon the altar, as he would have selfishly clung to what He wanted, desperate, because he was not confident in his identity as the Father of Multitudes.
Because we know the end of the story, we see that God was waiting until Abraham was ready and able to raise Isaac according to His standard. “For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.” (Genesis 18:19).
Often we think we are ready to steward the promises, only to look back later and see just how ready we weren’t. Understanding the Divine purposes for waiting will help us to fully yield to what God is doing in our lives during the seemingly pointless seasons. For, the greater the promise, the greater the resistance. It will help us not to “grow weary in well doing,” knowing that, in due season, “we shall reap, if we faint not.” (Galatians 6:9).
Recently, God said to me, “Come and eat of My hidden manna and be revived. Come and eat of Me and live forever, for I AM the Tree of Life.”
Then I began to think….. Slavery getting into the Israelites was a 400 year process of being stripped of their dignity, identity, strength and self-esteem. Getting slavery out of them was a 40 year process. This, in itself, was miraculous. Did it have something to do with the heavenly manna they ate every day? Did it literally change their DNA? They longed for familiar food (Numbers 11:4-9) and named manna the word that means “What is it?” But as the manna fell from heaven daily, as they worked the seed and ate, they were changed.
So, if we insist upon eating the familiar we will remain the same. But if we receive fresh manna from heaven and consume it, in the form of the unfamiliar, we are changed. It is not so much that it is foreign to us. It is just that we have forgotten who we are.
Then Holy Spirit revealed to me that this heavenly manna was what I had seen angels eating in a powerful encounter I had in 2012. Angels do not eat earthly food because they are not of earth, but they do eat. This is why Jesus said, “I have food that you know not of” and “My meat is to do the will of My Father” and “Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” He was talking of eating from Him, the Tree of Life.
So I encourage you to take communion daily, allowing the LIFE of God to flow into your spirit, soul and physical body. And I would encourage you to eat from His word to you day by day, moment by moment. Eat from His written word as well as every word that flows from His lips to you personally, out of your intimate relationship with the One who is LIFE.
“To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat…” (Revelation 2:17).
This recent word from the Lord was so beautiful and so encouraging, I wanted to share it with you:
“The ‘school’ of this season is learning to stay above this natural, earthly realm and all its lures and distractions. This season is about getting acquainted with and acclimated to your real home. This lower realm is where you get bogged down and drained dry.
I have taught you about abiding, and I have taught you about ascending. So now, you are to learn how to abide – to live – out of this heavenly place, with Me. From this place you can effectively rule and reign the earth. You have been promoted.
I am calling you higher, to a place of a new language, to a place of unhindered communion with Me.
‘Heaven is My throne and earth is My footstool’ (Isaiah 661; Acts 7:49). And so it is with you… In the heavenly realm is your rest and peace. And earth is the place of your dominion. Never again controlled, except by Me – not under the influences of these lower dimensions. Like the children of Israel, ‘Every place on which the soul of your foot treads shall be yours’ (Deuteronomy 11:24).
You are not under the laws that govern this fallen reality. Because it is not your home, and you are a citizen of another land, you have diplomatic immunity.
This day, I offer you an invitation to come and explore your homeland, to get to know its inhabitants, to learn to feel at home in your home, to remember from whence you have come. If you allow the needs of this earth to dictate your actions, you automatically submit (put yourself under) the limitations of earth. The needs, responsibilities, and sustenance of earth are its gravitational pull, keeping you landlocked. To rise above gravity, you must let go of all these things and go higher. From this higher realm, they will have no pull. Like Peter walking on the water, every time earth steals your focus, you will succumb to its influence. Conversely, as you become consciously aware of your true surroundings, lesser realities will submit and all things will be brought into perfect alignment and into subjection to our (Mine and your) rulership.
Come, My daughter, My bride, come with Me. Let us rule and reign on the earth together. Let us run and skip and jump and play, with the earth and its dimensions beneath our feet.
‘Rise up, My love, My fair one, and come away. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth; the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. The fig tree puts forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grapes give a good smell. Rise up, My love, My fair one, and come away! O My dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the (stairs), let Me see your face, let Me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet and your face is lovely’ (Song of Solomon 2:10-14).
As you rise, the remaining strings connecting you to earth will break. The puppet strings are false submission, and they need not control you unless you choose to allow them to.
If anything else is controlling you, then I am not controlling you. Today, there is grace being released to you to break free of the control that has been with you always. But there is grace to go back further than the beginning and to remember what it was like – what you were like – before you were born under that yoke.
My daughter, My bride, remember what you were like before the beginning, before you came into an earth body. You were a free spirit – literally! No encumbrances, no hindrances, no imitations – nothing but love, joy and peace. That is what you were like before, and that is who you are. That is who you will be again, because that is who you are in the heavenly realm.
Who you were is who you will be again, because that is who you are in the heavenly realm.”
